# rate_limited

> Too many requests in a short time, or the agent is paused for sending near-identical messages. Wait for Retry-After, then send the same request.

HTTP `429` · `retryable` is `true`

The account went over a per-minute limit, such as 60 notifications a minute on Free, or over the number of asks or waits
open at once. It also answers while an agent is paused after sending 20 near-identical messages within a minute. The
`Retry-After` header says how many seconds to wait. This is the one code that is `retryable`.

**What to do:** wait `Retry-After` seconds and send the same request again, with the same `Idempotency-Key`. The
