# quota_exceeded

> The account's monthly notifications are used up, or it reached the cap on projects or agents created by name. Retrying will not help.

HTTP `429` · `retryable` is `false`

The plan's notifications for this month are used (1,000 on Free; Pro and Business have no monthly cap, though very
high volumes may be limited to protect the service), or a message named a new project or agent
past the cap of 1,000 each. Unlike `rate_limited`, there is no `Retry-After`: the same request fails until something
changes.

**What to do:** wait for the next month, or move to Pro. For the naming cap, reuse an existing project or agent, or
tidy them up in the console. See [Limits](/docs/concepts/limits).
