# project_in_use

> A project cannot be deleted while an API key is bound to it or to one of its agents.

HTTP `409` · `retryable` is `false`

`DELETE /v2/projects/{project}` was refused: an API key that is neither revoked nor expired is bound to the project or
to one of its agents. The response's `detail` names those keys.

**What to do:** revoke the keys (`DELETE /v2/api_keys/{key_id}`, or Keys in the console), then delete the project
again.
