# ask_expired

> The ask's deadline has passed, so it can no longer be answered.

HTTP `410` · `retryable` is `false`

Every ask has a deadline (`expires_in`). This answer came after it. The ask settled as `expired`, with no decision
or with its `on_expire` default.

**What to do:** nothing can answer it now. If the decision is still needed, the agent asks again.
